Testimonials

from students and clients

“During my Master’s program, he [Professor Durham] was my instructor on multiple courses, helping me with writing, creative development and in guiding my ability as a screenwriter and future director. Professor Durham is a caring, interesting, hard-working creative, and organized instructor. It has been a pleasure working with him, and, moreso, gaining insight through his experience and skills under his instruction. An important aspect of Professor Durham’s interactions with students is his availability to answer questions; his interest in my work as a student; and his ability to provide just the right amount of structure yet allow some independence creatively. I personally have benefited from taking classes from Professor Durham and highly recommend his screenwriting class. ”

MFA Student

“Jamey is an amazing teacher! He's fun, intuitive, innovative, and so full of wisdom! What makes learning under him so great is the different approach he has. He gives so many opportunities to have hands on experience and that's so worth the time and experience! If you get the chance to take a class with him, do it! You'll learn so much (both formal textbook and experiential industry information), and you'll have so much fun and laugh a lot!”
